St. Paul's Church & Community Centre

St. Paul's Church has recently undergone a major refurbishment. and is now 'St. Paul's Church and Community Centre'.

St. Paul's is still very much a church. From traditional Communion Services without music to family friendly services with music and people available to assist with children. Our Midweek Bible studies help you understand our faith to a deeper level. With our sister churches of St. James with St. Thomas (St. james Centre in Poolstock) and St. Matthews at Highfield we deliver a diverse choice of worship styles and extend beyond to smaller 'worship communities'.

We have 'A Quiet Place' where just a little ambient music is played and candles are lit. No talking, no phones... and we promise, if you just come to visit 'A Quiet Place', nobody will approach you. It's a place to escape the world.

We want to be a blessing to all who enter.

Now that our refurbishment is complete we have more options available for our building use.

Gone are the pews to be replaced by comfy chairs.

The church is now equipped with new toilet facilities including an accessible toilet.

We have a fully equipped kitchen which is currently in use by our volunteer run 'Pots of Tea' Community cafe (every Wednesday 11am-2pm). Our delicious home made soups and home made scones have become a talking point! The kitchen also provides refreshments when events take place.

We have space for hire:

From a small meeting room with a large screen TV which can be connected to other equipment for training or business meetings.

We have a larger meeting room which has its own water boiler and fridge and large T.V.. (soon it will have it's own secure outside area which could be used for parties (the outside area is still in process))

And of course, the whole church building is available to hire. We have wonderful acoustics for music events.
